The river is in good shape in all sections. There are still some Golden stoneflies hatching
along with lots of Pale Morning duns and caddis. All sections of the river can be fished
including the uppermost sections. The weather is going to be warmer with no chance of
rain this coming week.

Strategies, Techniques and Tips:
Remember, there is a big difference in the lower and upper rivers as far as
hatch times are concerned. Brown sculpin and White Belly Sculpin are two of the very
best flies to use during the entire year.
Various species of Blue-winged olives will hatch mostly on cloudy days.
Spotted Sedges are hatching.
Green Sedges (caddisflies) are hatching.
Golden stoneflies are hatching.
Western Green drakes are hatching.
Pale Morning duns are hatching. Pale Evening Duns are hatching.
