The discharges and stream levels are near normal in the upper sections and the lower
river. Conditions look very good for the coming week. Good numbers of trout are being
caught by our customers. Several hatches are taking place. Some streelhead are being
caught in the lower river.

Trout:
Remember, there is a big difference in the lower and upper rivers as far as hatch times
are concerned.
Brown sculpin and White Belly Sculpin are two of the very best flies to use during the
entire year. Articulated streamers work good.
Various species of Blue-winged olives will hatch mostly on cloudy days. March Browns
are hatching. Pale Morning duns are hatching.
Spotted sedge caddis are hatching. Pale Evening duns are hatching.
Little Yellow stoneflies are hatching.
Terrestrials are working - carpenter ants, Japanese beetles and hoppers.
