The weekend is clear of rain but there's a chance everyday next week. The stream levels
are down but still a little high in most places. The lower river is stained from the White
river confluence downstream. The upper and middle sections vary from stained to clear,
depending on the section.

Strategies, Techniques and Tips:
Remember, there is a big difference in the lower and upper rivers as far as
hatch times are concerned. Brown sculpin and White Belly Sculpin are two of the very
best flies to use during the entire year.
Various species of Blue-winged olives will hatch mostly on cloudy days.
Green Sedges, or green caddisflies, are hatching.
Little Yellow stoneflies are hatching.
October caddis are hatching.
Mahogany duns are hatching.
Spotted Sedges, or caddisflies, are hatching.
Terrestrial insects, such as Japanese Beetles, Carpenter ants and grass hoppers are
starting to become important foods to imitate.
