There have been some good opportunities this past week. The stream levels have been
in good shape much of the time. Smallmouth Bass are being caught in the lower section
of the river. Midges are hatching good. Aquatic worms are working. Sculpin streamers are
always a good choice.
7 Day Weather Forecast: There is a chance of rain on Saturday, otherwise clear for the
next week. Highs will range from 52 to 70 and lows from 34 to 56 degrees.

Brown Sculpin and White Belly Sculpin, size 6
Blue-winged Olives: size 20, nymph, emergers, duns and spinners
Midges: Blood (Red), sizes 20/22, larva, pupa and adults

Various species of Blue-winged Olives are hatching, mostly on cloudy, overcast days.
Midges are hatching. Fish the larva and pupa imitations in tandem.
Brown and white Belly sculpin streamers are working good.
Black Matuka Sculpin and Olive Matuka sculpin are working good.
Terrestrials like Carpenter ants, Japanese beetle and hoppers are working.
