The conditions are still about the same as last week. It is a good time to fish the
river and few anglers are doing it. The discharges and stream levels are fine and
the weather warm and nice for the coming week. The cloud cover really helps, so
a little rain and snow isn't a bad thing.

Stream Conditions:

There is a chance of rain from Sunday through
Thursday.
The highs will range from 50 to 66 degrees and the lows from 37 to 43
degrees.


Recommended Trout Flies:
Blue-winged Olives, size 16 and 18, nymphs, emergers, duns and spinners
Brown Sculpin and White Belly Sculpin, size 6
Midges: Blood (Red), sizes 20/22, larva, pupa and adults
Midges: Light Green, size 20/22, larva, pupa and adults
Midges: Cream, size 20/22, larva pupa and adults
Black Flies, size 18/20, larva, pupa and adults
Strategies, Techniques and Tips for Trout:
Different species of Blue-winged Olives nymphs are plentiful in the lower Sac.
The Brown Sculpin and White Belly Sculpin streamers are the best streamers to use at
this time.
Black flies are hatching.
Midges, cream, light green and red or blood midges are plentiful. Fish the larva and
pupa in tandem.
