The stream levels are still up a good bit above normal, but drift boats are still
catching plenty of trout. We received two good reports from this past week.
There are still plenty of hatches taking place.

Strategies, Techniques and Tips:
Brown Sculpin and White Belly Sculpin are great streamers to use at this time. The Black
Matuka Sculpin and Olive Matuka Sculpin streamers are good flies to use for the larger
size trout. Fish them in low light conditions.
Various species of Blue-winged olive nymphs are hatching.
Spotted Sedges (caddisflies) are hatching.
Green Sedges (caddisflies) are hatching.
Pale Morning Duns are hatching.
Tricos are hatching.
Little Yellow stoneflies are hatching.
Terrestrial insects may be important at times - hoppers, Japanese beetles and Carpenter
ants.
