The stream levels are still in good shape. There is some smoke in the area, so
be sure to check that out. All three sections are turning out trout. We are still
getting some good reports. There are hatches taking place. This coming week
should be another good one.
Day Weather Forecast: There is no chance of rain for the next week. Highs
will range from 75 to 79 degrees and lows from 52 to 58 degrees.

Midges: Blood (Red), sizes 22, larva, pupa and adults

Strategies, Techniques and Tips:
Midges are hatching. Fish the larva and pupa rigged in tandem for the best results.
Fish the adults only when you see them on the surface.
The Brown Sculpin and White Belly Sculpin are good streamer flies to use year-round..
Fish them during low light conditions.
Scuds and sowbugs are present year-round, and trout can be caught on imitations of

Spotted sedge caddis are hatching.
Terrestrials such as Japanese beetles, Carpenter ants, and Hoppers are working.
