The lower end of the river near the state line is free of ice in the water with
Midges, Creams and Reds, hatching. There are some Little Winter stoneflies
hatching. Fish Sculpin streamers when it is snowing or cloudy, or in water that
is stained. Rig the larva and pupa of the midges in tandem.
