The discharges and stream levels are down just a little below normal. You can wade
many sections of the river. There are lots of caddisflies hatching and trout are being
caught in good numbers by most anglers.
7 Day Weather Forecast: There is a chance of rain everyday through
Wednesday, otherwise clear. Highs will range from 60 to 81 degrees and lows from
44 to 60 degrees.
Recommended Trout Flies:
Midges Red and Cream, size 20/22, larva, pupa and adults
Brown Sculpin and White Belly Sculpin, size 6
Sowbugs: size 16
Blue-winged Olives: size 18 and 20, nymphs, emergers, duns, and spinners

Strategies, Techniques and Tips:
Scuds and sowbugs are plentiful all year.
Brown Sculpin and White Belly Sculpin streamers are excellent flies to use the entire fall
and winter season.
Various species of Blue-winged Olives hatch, mostly on cloudy, overcast days.
Little Black caddis are starting to hatch.
Midges, creams, light greens, blood midges or reds are hatching and will get more and
more important as the water gets colder.
Sulphurs should be starting to hatch anytime now.
