The discharges and stream levels are currently a little below normal and that is
good for wading. Our customers are catching trout when the water is at that level or
lower. Two did well from boats in the lower section on high water. There are lots of
Blue-winged olives hatching. The weather is cooler but that mostly affects the lower
river. Stream Conditions:
7 Day Weather Forecast: There is a chance of rain on Thursday, otherwise clear.
Highs will range from 50 to 59 degrees and lows from 33 to 47 degrees.

Midges Red and Cream, size 20/22, larva, pupa and adults
Brown Sculpin and White Belly Sculpin, size 6
Sowbugs: size 16
Blue-winged Olives: size 18 and 20, nymphs, emergers, duns, and spinners

Strategies, Techniques and Tips:
Scuds and sowbugs are plentiful all year.
Brown Sculpin and White Belly Sculpin streamers are excellent flies to use the entire fall
and winter season.
Various species of Blue-winged Olives hatch, mostly on cloudy, overcast days.
Spotted Sedges, or caddis, are starting to hatch.
Cinnamon Sedges, or caddis, are hatching.
Green Sedges, or caddis, are starting to hatch.
