Mostly resident trout are being caught. A few browns headed to upstream
spawning areas have been caught. More trout should be moving out of the
lake soon. Hoppers are working good for resident trout.

Strategies, Techniques and Tips:
Midges are hatching. Fish the larva and pupa in tandem for the best results. Fish the
adults when you see midges on the surface.
Various species of Blue-winged Olives nymphs are still very plentiful. Some of them are
bi-brooded and will be hatching again soon.
Scuds are available for the trout to eat year-round.
Tricos are hatching.
Brown Sculpin and White Belly Sculpin are great choices for early and late fishing
Black and olive Matuka sculpin streamers are good fly choices for the larger trout..
Terrestrials like Japanese beetles, Carpenter ants and Hoppers are working.
