The larva is the most important
stage of life to imitate for this
caddisfly. It is called the Green
Rock Worm. They are free-living
larva that do not build cases and
are available for trout to eat most
of the time. The prefer fast moving
cold water. Trout can also be
taken on pupae and imitations of
adult egg layers
