| The Trico, short for Tricorythodes, is a very important mayfly during the late summer and early fall. They can hatch for as long as four months. It has been called the "White Winged Curse" because it can be difficult to imitate. They are found east to west in smooth flowing water. There is usually aquatic vegetation in the streams where they exist. |
